A 'Consignment Discussion Meeting on the Ratification of the 1990 OPRC Convention' was held at the SwissBellin Kemayoran Hotel, Jakarta, on 30 Aug 2019; this marked an important step towards accession to the convention.
The consignment programme was hosted by competent speakers; Expert Staff for Politics and Maritime Affairs of the Cabinet Secretariat, Mrs. Dyah Kusumastuti, re-delivered the mandate of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, mentioned during his State Speech on 16 August 2019, which was in line with the intended purpose of ratifying OPRC (unofficial translation provided by 'google').
